Roger Waters The Wall Live! Concert Review.

Whats the album you think of when you hear the name Pink Floyd? No doubt, like most people, you think of – The Wall. One of their most successful albums, and one of the most successful albums of all time. Complete with full length movie starring Bob Geldof, The Wall represents so many things, although it’s all a matter of perception.

Regardless, its one of the best, now classic, albums ever!

First I have to say thank you to some very good people that gave my wife and I the tickets, thank you Kev and Kim! Ok so my wife and I got to the concert at the Rogers Centre at about 7:30 and it took about 45 minutes to get inside because of the amount of people, full house, about 45,000 people. We got to our seats and I was really happy with where we were sitting, we were pretty much center with a great view.

The stage was designed to look exactly like a massive wall and there were holes where the band would be seen on the other side. The concert kicked off with fireworks complete with smoke-show, explosions and planes crashing into the wall! Epic Pink Floyd trademarks at their shows. The band that accompanied Roger were without a doubt top notch musicians that played as Pink Floyd is supposed to sound.

The evening was a huge thrill thanks to Roger Waters and his band and I would recommend anyone catching the next show when he comes into your town. You will not be disappointed as I have seen Pink Floyd and Roger Waters before and this was as good as any of them and that is, my friends, saying a lot!
